Job summary

Coastal Elite Pro seeks an Air Ambulance Pilot to provide rapid medical transport by helicopter, ensuring FAA compliance and safe operation. You will plan flights around weather, weight, and fuel, collaborating with medical staff and dispatch to execute missions efficiently.

Qualifications

Job description

Role Overview

Seeking an Air Ambulance Pilot responsible for providing rapid, safe, and efficient medical transportation via helicopter. The pilot ensures compliance with FAA regulations, plans and executes flights considering weather, weight, and fuel needs, and collaborates with medical staff, ground crew, and dispatch to ensure seamless missions. Key duties include maintaining accurate logs, responding promptly to emergencies, and representing the organization professionally.

Qualifications & Skills
  • FAA certifications: Commercial Pilot with Instrument Rating or Airline Transport Pilot, current FAA Second-Class Medical Certificate.
  • Experience: 2,000+ flight hours in helicopter or equivalent, cross-country, night, and instrument hours.
  • Preferred: Air ambulance experience, night vision goggle familiarity, turbine hours, and proximity to base.
  • Physical ability to perform pre/post-flight inspections, lift up to 50 pounds, and meet FAA medical and environmental standards.
