Job summary

Legend Brands is seeking a Machine Operator I/II - Rotomold to operate and monitor rotational molding machines and ensure high-quality plastic parts per specs. You will maintain equipment and follow safety and quality standards on the Day shift, Monday through Friday, 5:00am to 3:30pm, with possible overtime.

Responsibilities include loading resin/dye into molds, performing finishing operations, and inspecting finished products for consistency.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to operate machinery and hand tools.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand long periods.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing safety protocols.

• Perform operations within productivity standards in an on-demand and fast-paced environment.
• Operate and monitor rotational-molding machinery operations to meet quality specifications.
• Measure and load the correct amount of plastic resin, dye, or powder into molds.
• Perform finishing operations, including trimming, drilling and other secondary processes.
• Control the molding process to reduce or eliminate waste during setup and operation.
• Inspect finished products for quality and consistency.
• Troubleshoot equipment and production issues.
• Record counts and scrap materials.

Education

Job Summary

The Machine Operator I/II - Rotomold is responsible for operating and monitoring rotational molding machines to produce high-quality plastic parts according to specifications. The operator ensures the molding process runs smoothly, maintains equipment, and adheres to safety and quality standards. This position is on the Day shift, Monday - Friday 5:00am to 3:30pm, overtime may be required based on business needs.

Hiring Range

Between $20/hour - $23/hour depends on experience

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or GED required

• Skill in verbal and written communication, including the ability to follow both verbal and written instructions
• Knowledge of computer systems preferred
• Skilled at working in an ever changing, fast-paced environment
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
• Knowledge and demonstration of safety procedures
