Job summary

Sam's Club in Tarentum, PA is seeking a Team Member for our prepared foods area. You will help prepare fresh items, wrap and label merchandise, and keep the sales floor clean and organized to ensure the best shopping experience for members.

You’ll be part of a team that emphasizes friendly service, food safety, and efficient operations. The role includes using digital tools to improve processes and supporting multiple areas as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Preferred Qualifications: Food Service Food Handler Certification (Food Safety).

Responsibilities

• Be a Team Member: maintain up-to-date knowledge of prepared foods, educate teammates, and stay flexible to business needs.
• Be an Expert: prepare items according to specifications, plan production, and ensure food safety and sanitation standards.
• Be a Techie: use digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience, and train others on new tools.
• Be an Owner: manage area performance, stock and rotate items, control quality and date accuracy, and assist customers.
• Be a Talent Ambassador: model high-quality service and assist customers while representing the department with enthusiasm.
