Job summary

Sam's Club in Altoona, PA is hiring a Team Member for our prepared foods and rotisserie section. You will prepare fresh items daily, wrap, label, and store merchandise to ensure the freshest products for our members and assist with bakery orders as needed.

You will leverage handheld devices to drive sales, maintain product knowledge, and support a warm, efficient shopping experience while upholding food safety standards and company policies.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Preferred: Food Handler Certification.

Responsibilities

• Be a Team Member: maintain up-to-date knowledge of product specs and educate others on tools and resources; collaborate with team; assist with bakery orders as needed.
• Be an Expert: prepare food per specs; plan for future productions and seasonality; ensure food safety standards and inventory control; operate and sanitize equipment.
• Be a Techie: use digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience; use handheld tech for decisions.
• Be an Owner: drive area performance; stock/rotate merchandise; ensure quality and date control; assist customers per policies.
