Shelby County Schools seeks a JROTC Training Coordinator to develop, implement and evaluate training for Junior ROTC programs, coordinating schedules and materials, and delivering in-service and professional development for instructors.

The role requires creating master training schedules, planning district-wide co-curricular activities, maintaining records and driving safety procedures, with reporting through periodic meetings.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Education with endorsement in the taught grade/subject.
• Army officer rank and valid driver’s license required.
• Three years of related education or training experience.
• Experience developing JROTC training and PD programs preferred.

Mansioni

• Develops, implements and evaluates JROTC training and PD programs for instructors.
• Assist in ensuring uniformity among JROTC units per regulations and policies.
• Orders and maintains curriculum materials.
• Develops master and weekly training schedules for the year.
• Plans district-wide co-curricular activities and events.
• Develops risk assessments and conducts safety briefings.
• Maintains cadet records and training databases.
• Attends trainings and performs related duties as assigned.
