An established industry player is seeking a dedicated Rotational Staff Dentist to join their innovative dental program focused on providing essential services to underserved children in Central Texas. This role involves delivering care at various mobile clinic sites, ensuring that children receive the dental attention they need in a supportive environment. Job Purpose
The Rotational Staff Dentist provides a range of clinical and administrative services, working closely with the Lead Dentist on all clinical matters. They provide treatment at various mobile clinic sites, either independently with other rotational staff or with a regional clinical team. The dentist may also serve as a provider at rural clinic sites and for special clinical screenings and projects. Additionally, they act as an extra provider and substitute for other dentists as needed.
Dental Program
The St. David's Dental Program focuses on delivering dental services to children at Title 1 elementary schools and summer clinical sites within five Central Texas counties, reaching patients who might not otherwise receive dental care. The program operates eight hours a day, five days a week, with each mobile dental van staffed by a dedicated team. The vans are equipped with two exam rooms, digital x-rays, and computer workstations, traveling to various locations to maximize patient care and operational efficiency.
