Job summary

Conti Federal is seeking a Quality Control professional to manage project quality requirements in civil and structural construction. The role involves daily QC reporting, subcontractor and submittal management, and frequent field inspections to prevent non-conformance.

The ideal candidate will champion continuous process improvement, coordinate with Project Manager for timely reports, and ensure compliance with contract documents and safety plans throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• For Security Clearance - US Citizenship is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture or Construction Management with 5+ years of construction experience.
• Current USACE Construction Quality Control for Contractors certification.
• Proficient in USACE RMS 3.0.
• Experience with submittal management.
• Familiar with EM 385-1-1 and safety/sustainability requirements.
• Ability to read and understand contract drawings and specifications.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• MS Office proficiency (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• ACI certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately collects, processes, and analyzes data to formulate a solution.
• Coordinates with the Project Manager to ensure timely submission of daily reports.
• Writes clear and concise documents.
• Studies and masters all aspects of the contract, specifications, addenda, pre-bid information, and plans.
• Establishes excellent working relationships with clients and inspectors.
• Maintains Non-Conformance Report Logs and generates reports on actions and trends.
• Creates user-friendly management reports on project quality and performance metrics.
• Conducts and documents project meetings, issues minutes, and distributes findings.
• Continuously seeks process improvements to reduce waste and increase competitiveness.
