Job summary

VIAVI Solutions seeks energetic engineers for a two-year, on‑site rotation program. You will collaborate across expert teams and contribute to cutting‑edge software and hardware solutions that power diverse networks and services for 5G, data centers, and critical infrastructure.

You will grow through hands‑on mentorship, learn new technologies, and help transform complex data into actionable insights while advancing your career within VIAVI.

Qualifications

• Undergrad or Graduate Degree from an accredited university in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent technical discipline.
• Foundational skills in C/C++, including algorithm design, data structures, and design patterns; exposure to Windows or Linux operating systems and networking protocols (TCP/IP, 802.11, Bluetooth).
• Some engineering‑related experience outside the classroom environment, such as an internship/co‑op, hackathon, research project, or related experience.
• A self‑starter with demonstrated skills in time management, critical thinking, and the drive to dig into and understand how code works, along with the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
• Capability to quickly adapt to new projects and changing priorities when needed.
• This is a 100% on‑site position, offering daily collaboration, hands‑on mentorship, and direct access to cutting‑edge lab environments—ideal for those who thrive in a dynamic, team‑oriented setting.
