Job summary

U.S. Bank’s Portfolio and Relationship Management Development Program invites driven students to join a structured credit-focused track. Analysts gain training, mentorship, and hands-on exposure to credit processes within the Institutional Client Group.

Participants work with credit officers and relationship managers, supporting client interactions, portfolio reviews, and cross-sell opportunities while building strong industry knowledge and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree with an expected graduation date between December 2026 and June 2027.
• Strong foundation in financial and accounting principles.
• Available to start on July 12, 2027.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statement spreads, quarterly trend analyses, monitoring reports, and covenant tests in accordance with bank standards and credit policy.
• Conduct research and reporting using internal and external platforms to identify sector trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Analyze financial disclosures to support credit assessments and client evaluations.
• Monitor client risk profiles and contribute to internal assessments that inform credit decisions and product delivery.
• Support Portfolio Managers in preparing and presenting credit requests and sector reviews.
