U.S. Bank's Portfolio and Relationship Management Internship is a dynamic 10-week paid summer internship designed to provide students with hands-on experience in both Credit Analysis and Relationship Management within our Corporate & Commercial Banking divisions.

This dual-focus internship offers a unique opportunity to develop technical skills, business acumen, and client-facing capabilities while working alongside experienced professionals across diverse industry verticals.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree with a target graduation date of December 2027 or May 2028.
• Coursework in finance, economics, business administration.
• Basic understanding of financial concepts and applications.
• Ability to start the internship on June 7, 2027.
• GPA 3.0 or above (preferred).
• Previous corporate or investment banking experience (preferred).
• Strong relationship-building and problem-solving skills (preferred).
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure (preferred).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Analyze historical financial statements and prepare reports to communicate performance and trends.
• Conduct industry-specific research to support credit underwriting decisions.
• Assist in the assessment of credit requests and delivery of recommendations tied to credit risk.
• Collaborate with Portfolio Managers, Relationship Managers, and Credit Administration teams.
• Gain exposure to day-to-day work conducted by our Relationship Management teams.
