Newcastle Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Band 5 Rotational Occupational Therapist to join a dynamic team on the rotational scheme. You will be based across the Trust in a range of clinical settings, handling OT assessments, planning discharges, and contributing to a high standard of patient-centred care.

The post offers structured induction, supervision, and opportunities for CPD within a multidisciplinary team; 37 hours 30 minutes per week with posts spanning 6- or 12-month

Qualificações

• State registered with HCPC and eligible for professional practice.
• Excellent knowledge of OT core skills and assessment processes.
• Experience with diverse physical conditions in acute settings is desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Identify suitable patients and perform OT assessments and interventions to promote independence and discharge planning.
• Manage an own caseload within a MDT to ensure holistic patient-centred care.
• Provide supervision and support to students and junior staff; participate in departmental CPD.
