Job summary

Koch Finishing Systems offers a Mechanical Engineer Co-op to rotate through engineering, sales and estimating, field services, R&D, and manufacturing. You will gain hands-on experience and apply academic knowledge in a professional setting.

You will design, analyze, and test mechanical systems, contribute to cost estimates, and support on-site installations while developing technical and professional skills for future employment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Strong interest in rotating through diverse functional areas.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic engineering software tools.

Responsibilities

• Rotate through departments and gain experience in engineering, sales & estimating, field services, R&D, and manufacturing.
• Assist with the design, analysis, and testing of mechanical systems and components.
• Participate in cost estimations and customer proposals for new projects.
• Support project implementation, on-site installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Contribute to product development initiatives and innovation projects.
• Assist in process improvements, workflow optimization, and quality control initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on real-world projects.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation as needed.
