Koch Finishing Systems is offering a Mechanical Engineer Co-op to gain hands-on experience across engineering, sales and estimating, field services, research and development, and manufacturing. You will rotate through multiple functional areas to build a comprehensive understanding of the business.

The program emphasizes collaboration, problem solving, and applying academic knowledge in a professional setting, with mentorship and potential for future employment.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Strong interest in rotating through diverse functional areas.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic engineering software tools.

Responsibilities

• Rotate through departments, gaining experience in design, analysis, and testing of mechanical systems.
• Assist with cost estimations and customer proposals for new projects.
• Support field services with on-site installations, troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Contribute to product development initiatives in R&D.
• Assist in manufacturing process improvements and quality control initiatives.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation as needed.
