Job summary

ATI seeks highly capable engineers for a three-year rotational program across Western Pennsylvania facilities. Participants will gain exposure to operations and functional areas within the ATI Specialty Rolled Products unit, with opportunities to advance in Product and Process Engineering.

Selected majors include Materials Science, Metallurgical Engineering, and Chemical Engineering, and prior manufacturing internship experience is preferred. Strong analytical and collaboration skills are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Materials Science, Metallurgical Engineering, or Chemical Engineering.
• Internship experience in manufacturing preferred.
• Familiarity with process models and optimization techniques.
• Proficiency with ad-hoc database queries using Access or SQL.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve manufacturing processes.
• Troubleshoot quality-related issues and resolve problems.
• Control quality costs and manage non-conforming product dispositions.
• Interact with production workers on quality issues daily.
• Lead yield and product quality improvement projects.
• Ensure products meet customer specifications.
• Support customer new product qualifications.
• Interface with customers to resolve complaints and rejections.
