Crowley Maritime Corporation in Palmer, Alaska seeks a Class A CDL driver to safely load and unload fuel across a designated route. You will inspect vehicles, maintain records, and ensure compliance with DOT requirements while delivering fuel to retail and customer sites.
The role requires experience with Class A equipment, tanker and Hazmat endorsements, a current medical card, and the ability to obtain a TWIC and LCV certificate where applicable. Competitive benefits offered.

Operational
Responsible for driving a designated route to load and/or unload fuel safely and in a timely manner.
High school diploma or equivalent or experience in lieu of education.
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships. Ability to demonstrate effective customer services skills. Ability to function effectively with, or as part of a team. Knowledge of and ability to identify safety hazards and necessary safety precautions to establish a safe work environment. Knowledge of and the ability to safely operate and/or maintain machinery, tools and equipment. Ability to lift and maneuver 50 plus pounds.
Works both inside an office environment and also outside in conditions of both high and low temperatures. May be exposed to odors, dust, dirt, mechanical hazards, high noise levels and potentially dangerous equipment. Must be able to crouch and stoop to get into areas with restricted headroom and be able to climb ladders. May require extended use of computer keyboard and viewing of computer monitor and ability to sit for long periods of time.
