Job summary

Chevron Shipping Company is seeking a Hull and Systems Engineer to provide marine engineering and naval architecture services for LNG carriers, crude oil carriers, product carriers, and floating assets. The role includes team collaboration for design, construction, and operation of marine assets.

Rotations in the program typically last 18–24 months, with possible overseas assignments. After completing the program, the role will transition to a Marine Technical position in Houston, TX.

Qualifications

  • B.S. or M.S. in Naval Architecture and/or Marine Engineering or equivalent.
  • 0–5 years of industry experience.
  • Applicants must have permanent work authorization in the United States and not require sponsorship.
  • Ability to demonstrate The Chevron Way.

Responsibilities

  • Provide marine engineering and naval architecture services for Chevron Shipping Company LNG carriers, crude oil carriers, product carriers, and floating assets (FPSO, FSO, FLNG, FPUs, etc.).
  • Interact and work with team members to deliver engineering support for marine assets.
  • Rotate amongst teams as part of the Hull and Systems Engineer program; overseas rotations may be required for business needs.
  • Conclude in a Marine Technical role located in Houston after graduation from the program.
