Job summary

Texas Instruments offers a two-year Facilities CAP program for recent graduates with a facilities-related degree. Participants rotate through two assignments, gaining hands-on experience with utility systems and ownership over projects from day one.

As part of the Facilities Controls and Automation team, you will work with PLCs, SCADA, field instrumentation, motor drives, and industrial networks, collaborating with other engineers to ensure safe and reliable facility automation and continuous

Qualifications

  • Graduates with a facilities-related degree (Mechanical, Electrical, Controls, Civil, Environmental, or Industrial Engineering or related field).
  • Willingness to rotate through two diverse Facilities positions over a 2-year period.

Responsibilities

  • Manage requested projects and equipment installations, including resources, schedules, and budgets.
  • Provide technical support to Facilities as a system expert over time.
  • Collaborate with other engineering disciplines and internal customers to ensure cost-effective projects within budget and design criteria.
  • Communicate and document the sequence of operations and design intent to stakeholders.
  • Provide capacity/demand analysis of utility systems to support growth when required.
  • Analyze critical utility systems to identify risks and develop solutions.
  • Develop and review maintenance and operational procedures for best practices.
  • Design and manage turnkey projects and coordinate field contract work.
