Job summary

LANXESS in Pittsburgh hosts a Rotational Engineer Program, a three-year development track with rotations at the Americas regional engineering center and manufacturing plants across North America. Participants build a solid engineering foundation and work on compliance and continuous improvement projects.

Ideal candidates have a BS in Electrical Engineering, 0–3 years of engineering experience (intern/co-op preferred), strong problem-solving and communication skills, and willingness to travel

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering from an accredited program.
• 0–3 years engineering experience; internship/co-op in manufacturing or design preferred.
• Strong problem solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a three-year rotation program with assignments at the Americas regional engineering center and manufacturing plants.
• Develop hands-on engineering experience by working on compliance and/or continuous improvement projects during rotations.
• Prepare for engineering roles at manufacturing plants across North America.

Job description

The Rotational Engineer Program is a three year development program with rotations at the Americas regional engineering center and manufacturing plants. Rotational Engineers develop a foundation in the Lanxess organization and core engineering skills prior to taking engineering roles at manufacturing plants in North America. Rotational Engineers learn hands-on by developing compliance and/or continuous improvement projects during their rotations.

Experience / Skills

• 0 - 3 years of engineering experience with prior intern/co-op experience in manufacturing and/or design preferred
• Strong problem solving and communication skills
• Domestic travel and relocation over a period of 2 - 3 years
