American Honda Motor Company, Inc. is seeking an Accountant to support month-end close, budgeting analyses, and financial reporting for department managers.

You will analyze variances and prepare journal entries with some supervision. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Accounting or Finance (or an Associate's with relevant experience), demonstrates strong analytical and presentation skills, is proficient in Excel/PowerPoint and SAP, and is willing to relocate to Honda locations across North

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance or Associate's Degree with 2+ years in accounting.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, presentation and organizational skills.
• Strong Microsoft product skills (Excel, PowerPoint) and SAP knowledge.
• Willingness to relocate to various Honda locations throughout North America.

Responsibilities

• Prepare month end close activities including analysis of financial information to create journal entries with supervision.
• Prepare budget vs actual comparisons for responsible departments.
• Use analytical skills to work with department managers in the creation of budget events.
• Create presentations to advise department leaders of budget to actual conditions and recommendations.
