This position is for rotating shifts.

What You Will Do

• Stay in compliance with all Plant policies and safety procedures.
• Ensure products are properly palletized and stretch wrapped, and properly stacked in the warehouse.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area.
• Ensure there are no unlabeled containers in work area.
• Supply required packaging materials for assigned production line.
• Prepare each morning production line – assure inventory needs for the production run.
• Prepare end of run - manage unused materials by properly labeling and storing for future use.
• Operate forklift in a safe and proper manner.
• Perform minimum maintenance daily on forklift and complete daily inspection log.
• Load/unload freight trucks on an as need basis.
• Handle raw materials, packaging items, and finished product to and from warehouses and production facilities safely.
• Monitor inventory quantities.
• Maintain organized warehouse when delivering finished product in accordance with warehouse managers specifications.
• Be knowledgeable of the products we handle.
• Assist all plant personnel in seeking ways to eliminate waste and inefficiency throughout plant.
  
  

What You Will Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent required; experience may be considered in lieu of education.
• 1+ year of relevant experience required.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to pass a written forklift operator examination and skill test.
• Ability to work flexible hours to satisfy customer requirements.
