Job summary

ADM is seeking a Rotating Shift Supervisor in Seagraves, TX to oversee daily safety, quality and production activities across shifts. You will lead staff, enforce GMP/HACCP/FSMA, monitor operations, and collaborate with maintenance and quality to ensure customer expectations are met.

You will also manage scheduling, training, performance reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives while adhering to company policies and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead, participate, and support safety and environmental rules and regulations.
• Supervise all production staff during shift.
• Maintain good working relationships with all employees.
• Adhere to GMP, HACCP, FSMA and BRC requirements; manage daily plant operations including safety, quality, production, costs and efficiencies.
• Provide solutions and promote collaboration among production, maintenance and quality.
• Oversee lock out/tag out procedures and confined space entries.
• Monitor and suggest continuous improvement initiatives across operations.
• Review employee performance and assist in development.
• Coordinate purchase orders and production requests for all runs.
• Work with Quality Manager to uphold quality standards and customer expectations.
• Ensure proper cleaning and sanitation between runs.
• Observe equipment and report maintenance concerns.
• Lead production team and provide regular feedback.
• Assist with scheduling and production records.
• Administer supervisory duties per company policies including hiring, training and performance appraisals.
• Develop relations with plant management, planning, transportation, quality and inventory control.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Flexible to work any shift, including weekends and holidays.
• Collaborate with associates in a dynamic environment.
• Adapt to changes in work routines.

Rotating Shift Supervisor- Seagraves, TX

This is an exempt level position.

Position Summary

Supervising the daily activities of safety, quality, and production procedures as well as leading employees in all aspects of production during shift.

Job Responsibilities

• Display a dedication to lead, participate, and support all safety and environmental rules and regulations applicable to the position.
• Responsible for supervising all production staff during shift.
• Maintain good working relationships with all employees.
• Adhere to and implement Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), HACCP, FSMA and BRC requirements. Be responsible for the daily plant operations, which include safety and environmental compliance, food safety, quality control, production, cost optimization and efficiencies.
• Provide solutions and promote collaboration amongst the various groups such as production, maintenance and quality.
• First line of involvement with lock out/tag out procedures and confined space entries.
• Monitor, review, and suggest/direct initiatives for continuous improvement in all areas of operations.
• Review employee performance and assist in employee development.
• Coordinate purchase orders and production requests for all production runs.
• Work directly with Quality Manager and managerial staff to assure quality control standards and customer expectations are upheld throughout processing.
• Responsible for ensuring proper cleaning and sanitation between runs.
• Observes equipment throughout facility and reports concerns to maintenance staff.
• Leads work of all production employees.
• Give feedback on a routine basis to all employees.
• Assist with scheduling and daily production records as needed.
• Administer supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the company’s policies and applicable laws, including interviewing, hiring and training employees; appraising performance; rewarding and focusing employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
• Develop positive relationship with plant management, planning, transportation, quality and inventory control.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Flexibility to work any shift required, including weekends and holidays as applicable.
• Collaborate with other associates in a dynamic environment.
• Flexibility and welcoming of changes in work routine.

Job Qualifications

• Ability to sit/stand/walk for long periods of time while performing job duties.
• Capability of working in confined spaces and from heights, bending, kneeling, able to lift 50 lbs repeatedly and ability to wear a respirator.
• Ability to analyze information quickly to provide feedback in the manufacturing process and troubleshoot equipment failures.
• Prior work related and leadership experiences preferred; tree nut experience desirable

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.

If hired, employees will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

The pay range for this position is expected to be between:

$57,000.00 - $96,700.00
