Job summary

Hydro is seeking a Production Operator for a rotating shift in Henderson, KY. The role involves daily operation duties focused on safe, high‑quality production and adherence to 5S and EHS standards.

You will rotate through multiple production processes (melting, casting, homogenizing, packing) and support maintenance and process improvements while maintaining strong attendance and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of the casting process and molten metal background is desirable.
• Minimum of two years of stable work experience in an industrial environment is required.
• Good communication skills and willingness to work on a diverse, cooperative team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe work environment by observing EHS rules and 5S standards.
• Assist in meeting production targets and removing bottlenecks across processes (charting, melting, casting, homogenizing, sawing, packing and loading).
• Rotate through all team roles periodically.
• Perform routine maintenance of equipment as required.
• Assist maintenance technicians and others with heavier maintenance as needed.
• Participate in process improvement activities.
• Ensure product quality and customer satisfaction by complying with quality requirements and performing quality checks.
• Adhere to SOPs and help update and improve them.
