Job summary

EnerStaff LLC seeks a Compressor Mechanic in Houston, TX to tear down and rebuild pumps and compressors in a shop setting. The role requires experience with centrifugal and reciprocating compressors and involves field service, maintenance, and assembly tasks.

Shifts run 5am-1pm, Monday to Friday. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with a starting pay rate of $30–$42 per hour. Background check and drug screen may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience with centrifugal and reciprocating compressors.
• Perform preventive and corrective field maintenance on compressors.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, diagrams and tolerances.
• Disassemble, repair and reassemble components to ensure proper alignment.

Responsibilities

• Tear down and rebuild pumps and compressors in shop environment.
• Disassemble, repair and reassemble components to maintain alignment and tolerances.
