Job summary

OTC Industrial Technologies is seeking a Rotating Equipment Technician to install, align, dismantle, and move industrial machinery. You will perform preventive maintenance, inspect components, and troubleshoot equipment issues in a hands-on role.

Applicants should have 2–4 years of mechanical maintenance experience, basic troubleshooting skills, and the ability to read drawings. Travel and valid driver's license may be required as part of field service work.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade school training preferred.
  • 2–4 years of experience in industrial, mechanical maintenance, or field service role.
  • Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills and hands-on equipment maintenance experience.
  • Familiarity with precision measuring tools and mechanical assembly.
  • Ability to read and interpret basic mechanical drawings and schematics.
  • Experience using hand and power tools in an industrial setting.

Competitive Pay:This position offersanhourly wage ranging from $30-38/hr, depending on experience and qualifications.

What You'll Do:

  • Assist with the installation, alignment, dismantling, and movement of industrial machinery and mechanical equipment.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on rotating and fixed equipment.
  • Inspect mechanical components for wear, damage, and alignment issues, escalating concerns as needed.
  • Use precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and dial indicators.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Assist in troubleshooting equipment issues and support repairs or component replacements.
  • Use hand and power tools to complete maintenance and installation tasks.
  • Work alongside experienced technicians, engineers, and electricians on equipment installations and repairs.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and time spent using CMMS or job tracking systems.
  • Demonstrate the ability to complete routine tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment, complying with company and industry safety regulations.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to expand technical skills.

What You'll Need:

  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel for field service work as needed.
