Job summary

Conhagen seeks a Shop Manager to oversee daily shop operations for repairing and overhauling rotating equipment. You will lead technicians, ensure safety and quality, and drive customer satisfaction through effective communication and schedule adherence.

Responsibilities include supervising repairs on pumps, turbines, gearboxes, and compressors; mentoring staff; and maintaining OSHA-compliant safety standards while optimizing costs and productivity.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a rotating equipment service environment with supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance.
• Proven leadership and team-building abilities.
• Familiarity with safety standards, OSHA, and quality control processes.
• Proficient in shop management software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of mechanics, machinists, welders and support staff.
• Supervise daily shop activities, ensuring jobs are completed on time and to specifications.
• Oversee the repair and servicing of rotating equipment such as pumps, compressors, turbines, and gearboxes.
• Work closely with customers and project management teams to understand job requirements and expectations.
• Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through quality service and prompt issue resolution.
• Enforce safety procedures and ensure OSHA compliance and a zero-incident workplace.
