Job summary

Excel Scientific, Inc. is seeking an E-Machine Operator I in Saint Paul, MN to operate die cutting press machines and ensure parts meet specifications. You will set up, changeover, adjust processes, read prints, and perform inspections to maintain quality.

Work involves adherence to GMP, maintaining logs, and collaborating with packaging and quality teams. Prior die-cutting experience and reading engineering drawings are preferred.

Qualifications

• GMP knowledge and adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and part prints.
• Basic knowledge of polymers, foils and materials used in die-cutting.
• Basic electrical understanding and circuits.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Familiarity with quality methods and basic inspection equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate die cutting press machines and perform setup/changeovers per procedures.
• Carry out quality inspections following drawings and documents.
• Update production logs accurately and timely.
• Assist in continuous improvement initiatives to reduce costs and boost efficiency.
• Maintain equipment and perform preventive maintenance per procedures.
• Ensure GMP compliance and safety policies are followed.
• Support training of less experienced personnel and collaborate with teams.
