Job summary

Menasha Corporation is seeking a Rotary Die Cut Operator Assistant to support the Operator in keeping equipment running and ensuring the finished product meets quality standards. The role is on the 2nd shift (2:00 PM – 10:30 PM) in Neenah, WI, with a wage range of $20.19 to $27.31 per hour based on experience.

The position emphasizes safety, GMP compliance, quality inspections, and teamwork across departments.

Qualifications

• Safety sensitive position – ability to work in a constant state of alertness and a safe manner.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as required based upon the needs of the business.
• Ability to work on a rotating shift as needed.
• Ability to effectively work in teams.
• Ability to read a tape measure/ruler.
• Good mathematical skills.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with keeping equipment running and ensuring finished product quality.
• Fill containers of cleaning solvents, water, fountain solution and ink as needed.
• Assist with mounting plates and communication with operator when problems arise.
• Complete quality inspections and paperwork.
• Work with peers and other department to improve quality and performance.

About The Opportunity

The Rotary Die Cut Operator Assistant is responsible for assisting and supporting the Operator with keeping the equipment running finished product while checking quality.

Essential Functions

• Demonstrate commitment to safety and perform job duties in accordance with company safety policies and procedures


• Demonstrate commitment to quality and perform job duties in adherence to GMP guidelines


• Understand job ticket information to determine quantity, stock specifications, colors, special printing instructions and any special customer requirements


• Fill containers of cleaning solvents, water, fountain solution and ink as needed


• Assist with mounting plates


• Communicate with the operator when problems come up on the delivery end


• Assist with decisions regarding the quality of finished product


• Complete required quality inspections and paperwork


• Work with peers and other department to improve quality and performance


• Palletize stacks of finished product on ski


• Repair or assist maintenance in the repair of machine as necessary


• Play an active role in the maintenance and cleanliness of assigned equipment and surrounding work area


• Understand department communication systems, schedules, time/attendance system and job reporting requirements


• Perform other duties as assigned by management/supervisors

Work Details

The company is headquartered in Neenah, Wisconsin.

This position is a 2nd shift position from 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM.

The wage range for this position is $20.19-$27.31/hour (wage is based on experience).
