If you like to make things happen and are passionate about what you do, you’re going to want to be here.Join us and become part of the power behind possible.**About The Opportunity**The Rotary Die Cut Operator Assistant is responsible for assisting and supporting the Operator with keeping the equipment running finished product while checking quality.Essential Functions* Demonstrate commitment to safety and perform job duties in accordance with company safety policies and procedures* Demonstrate commitment to quality and perform job duties in adherence to GMP guidelines* Understand job ticket information to determine quantity, stock specifications, colors, special printing instructions and any special customer requirements* Fill containers of cleaning solvents, water, fountain solution and ink as needed* Assist with mounting plates* Communicate with the operator when problems come up on the delivery end* Assist with decisions regarding the quality of finished product* Complete required quality inspections and paperwork* Work with peers and other department to improve quality and performance* Palletize stacks of finished product on ski* Repair or assist maintenance in the repair of machine as necessary* Play an active role in the maintenance and cleanliness of assigned equipment and surrounding work area* Understand department communication systems, schedules, time/attendance system and job reporting requirements* Perform other duties as assigned by management/supervisors**Performance Measures and Outcomes:*** Adherence to safety policies and procedures* Quality of work* Production goals**Additional knowledge, skills and abilities*** Safety sensitive position – ability to work in a constant state of alertness and a safe manner* Ability to work overtime and weekends as required based upon the needs of the business* Ability to work on a rotating shift as needed* Ability to effectively work in teams* Ability to work in a production-based environment with moving equipment and people* Ability to interact and communicate effectively with a wide variety of roles* Ability to read a tape measure/ruler* Good mathematical skills* Good communication skillsJoin our team and be part of a company that started in 1849!This position is a 2nd shift position from 2:00 PM – 10:30 PMThis position may be required to work overtime.The wage range for this position is $20.19-$27.31/hour (wage is based on experience)Many advancement opportunities**Two companies, one vision.**Menasha Corporation consists of two companies that are leading the way to a sustainable future with packaging and supply chain solutions.
