Samson Rope Technologies in Lafayette, LA seeks Splicers to fabricate and splice rope assemblies for inventory and orders on 2nd shift. You will perform splices on various rope constructions, install chafe protection, and conduct on-line quality inspections.

Competenze

• No prior production experience required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Forklift certification is desirable.

Mansioni

• Perform splices in single, seven core, flex core, and double braided products.
• Install chafe protection.
• Perform post operations such as seizing, lock stitching, coating, encapsulation, and beckets.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
• Perform quality inspection on the line while splicing.
• Report equipment or operation problems to supervisor/quality control.
• Participate in Lean process improvements.
• Operate production machinery, forklift and/or pallet jack, and hand tools.
