Job summary

VALCOURT is seeking window washing technicians in Warrenville, IL to clean exterior windows using ropes or scaffolding up to 500 feet and to operate extension poles and ladders safely. You will work outdoors, often at height, and follow safety protocols.

The role requires strong communication and customer service skills, a high school diploma or equivalent, and availability for overtime. A driver's license is preferred. Flexible schedule options and physical endurance are valued.

Responsibilities

• Use rope descent system or scaffolding to reach exterior windows up to 500 feet for cleaning.
• Handle up to 60 ft of watered extension poles (~25 pounds) to clean high windows.
• Set up ladders to access second and third story windows.
• Transport and apply mildly abrasive cleaning solutions such as chlorine and ammonia.

Job description

Monday to Friday (Saturday and worknights available)Morning Shift from 7:00 AM - 2:30 PMWindow washing technicians perform general window cleaning while using brushes, sponges, or wet cloths to apply soapy water or other cleaning solutions to exterior building surfaces. Following the application of cleaning products, technicians are responsible for drying the wet glass with a cloth or squeegee. Pressure cleaning professionals independently operate high-pressure cleaning equipment and wash areas assigned to them.
