H S G PROFESSIONAL WINDOW CLEANERS INC is seeking window washing technicians to clean exterior windows on high-rise buildings in the Los Angeles area.

The role involves rope-descent or scaffold access up to 500 feet, ladders for 2nd/3rd floor work, and handling cleaning solutions with protective gear. Strong communication and reliability are essential for overtime and varying shifts.

Responsibilities

• Use either a Rope Descent System or scaffolding to reach outside windows up to 500 feet for cleaning.
• Set up and climb ladders to reach second and third story windows.
• Transport mildly abrasive cleaning solutions and wear protective clothing/equipment.
• Clean exterior surfaces with brushes, sponges, or cloths and dry with a squeegee.

Job description

Window washing technicians perform general window cleaning while using brushes, sponges, or wet cloths to apply soapy water or other cleaning solutions to exterior building surfaces. Following the application of cleaning products, technicians are responsible for drying the wet glass with a cloth or squeegee. Pressure cleaning professionals independently operate high-pressure cleaning equipment and wash areas assigned to them. This can include using various cleaning materials to achieve the desired results of cleaning and sanitation.Duties/Responsibilities:Use either a Rope Descent System or scaffolding to reach outside windows up to 500 feet for cleaning or hold and maneuver up to 60’ of watered extension poles (~25 pounds) to clean third and fourth floor windows from the ground.Set up and climb ladders to reach second and third story windows.Work with and/or transport mildly abrasive chemically based cleaning solutions such as chlorine and ammoniaRequired Skills/Abilities:Good communication and customer services skillsAvailability, if needed, for overtime and occasional weekend or night workValid Driver’s license is preferredEducation and Experience:High school diploma or equivalent.Physical Requirements:Lift and carry ~50 pounds regularly and repeatedly throughout the workday, carrying equipment up flights of stairs and fixed ladders.Work at heights of up to 500 feetWear latex gloves or other protective clothing/equipmentStand or walk for up to two hours at a time.Repetitively stoop, kneel, climb, and reachWork outside in all seasonsPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
