Mistras Group Inc. is seeking Rope Access technicians based in our Trainer, PA office for work in the Northeast. Candidates should be certified as Level I, II, or III Rope Access Technicians (SPRAT or IRATA) or interested in obtaining such certifications through company training. Essential qualities include safety, integrity, technical skills, customer service, and teamwork. Technicians are expected to serve as positive role models and support team members in each assignment.
Major Responsibilities:
- Represent MISTRAS professionally at all times.
- Provide excellent customer service reflecting integrity, collaboration, and respect.
- Work effectively in teams to complete field and administrative tasks on time and with quality, including safety plans, rescue protocols, reports, and documentation.
- Prioritize safety, adhering to all safety procedures, permits, and protocols, and conduct daily safety meetings.
- Lead, manage, and train team members, providing feedback and boosting morale.
- Maintain communication with project managers and leadership, reporting concerns proactively.
- Adhere to certification standards and develop advanced rescue skills.
- Follow company policies, complete training on time, and maintain punctuality and attendance.
- Demonstrate company values through consistent behavior.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- Certification as a Level I, II, or III Rope Access Technician (SPRAT or IRATA) or interest in obtaining it.
- High school diploma or GED; relevant degrees are a plus.
- First-aid, CPR, and AED certifications at hire or within 60 days, maintained thereafter.
- Valid driver’s license without restrictions.
- Proficiency with technology, including Microsoft Office and communication tools.
Essential Physical Functions:
- Pass medical, physical, and functional capacity tests as required.
- Perform strenuous work in various weather and environmental conditions.
- Lift up to 30 lbs regularly and up to 60 lbs occasionally.
- Work may involve repetitive motions and operating at heights, requiring good vision, hearing, and speaking abilities.
