Job summary

MISTRAS Group, Inc. seeks certified Rope Access RT/CR Technicians near the Greater Houston area for full-time, on-site work. You will perform NDT radiography on piping, tanks and vessels and report findings per customer procedures.

Candidates must have Rope Access certification, ASNT NDE Level II in RT, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid driver’s license; Level II CR is preferred. Competitive pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent; technical school or college credits preferred.
• Must possess a current ASNT NDE Level II certificate in the RT method and knowledge of NDE.
• Rope Access certification required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to generate technical data in writing and electronically.

Responsibilities

• Train RT assistant, run the film and grade the film per customer procedures.
• Set up, calibrate equipment and interpret results per applicable codes/standards.
• Mentor NDT Level I personnel and supervise trainees.
• Organize and report NDT test results.
• Generate NDT data and report findings; evaluate data for disposition.
• Other duties as assigned.
