Acuren Inspection, Inc. is hiring a Rope Access Level III Mechanical Technician in the New Orleans area. You will perform specialized rope access tasks on industrial facilities, upholding safety and reliability standards.

Required IRATA Level 3 certification, 3+ years of field experience, and a strong knowledge of rescue techniques. You will work as part of a diverse team in challenging environments and contribute to critical asset integrity programs.

Qualifications

• IRATA Level 3 Certification required.
• Thorough understanding of rope access applications, theory, equipment and rigging, maneuvers, climbing and hauling, and advanced rescue techniques.
• Minimum of 3 years of IRATA Level 3 experience in diverse industrial environments.
• Current first aid certification.
• Driver's license preferred.
• Ability to work in a diverse team.
• Ability to work productively in adverse conditions.

Position Summary

Acuren is now hiring Rope Access Level III Mechanical Technicians.

This position is currently open to candidates who live in New Orleans, LA, and the surrounding communities.

Responsibilities

• Perform specific job functions as they relate to work orders
• Be conversant with relevant work techniques
• Have a comprehensive knowledge of advanced rescue techniques
• Be able to demonstrate all the skills and knowledge required of level III
• Assist other technicians as required
• Ensure operational safety of all equipment

Requirements

• IRATA Level 3 Certification required
• A thorough understanding of applicable rope access applications, and comprehensive knowledge of theory, equipment and rigging, maneuvers, climbing and hauling and advanced rescue techniques
• A minimum of three (3) years of demonstrated experience as an IRATA Level 3 Rope Access Technician working within a variety of industrial environments.
• Current first aid certification
• A valid drivers' license is preferred
• Ability to work effectively within a diverse team
• Ability to work productively in a variety of adverse conditions
