Job summary

MISTRAS Group has an immediate need for Rope Access Insulators for a long-term project in Baytown, TX to start as soon as possible. The role involves applying and repairing insulation on pipelines, tanks, and equipment, reading drawings for material needs, and delivering quality work with strong safety practices.

The ideal candidate holds rope access certification L1/L2, has at least one year of insulation experience, a high school diploma or GED, and is willing to travel as required.

Qualifications

• Industrial rope access certification L1 or L2 is required.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• One year insulation experience or equivalent credential is required.
• Willingness to perform other mechanical tasks as needed.
• Must meet first-aid, CPR and AED certification requirements.

Responsibilities

• Apply, remove and repair insulation on industrial equipment.
• Read drawings and specifications to determine material needs.
• Provide customer service reflecting integrity and teamwork.
• Work in a team to complete tasks on time with quality.
• Maintain safety and risk management practices per procedures.
• Adhere to certification-based scope and techniques.
