Job summary

MISTRAS Group is seeking Rope Access Insulators for a long-term Baytown, TX project. The role involves applying, removing, and repairing insulation on pipelines, tanks, and vessels, reading drawings for material needs, and maintaining safety at all times.

Candidates should have industrial rope access cert level 1 or 2, a HS diploma or GED, and at least one year of insulation experience. Willingness to travel and perform other mechanical tasks is required.

Qualifications

• Rope access certification level 1 or 2 required.
• High school diploma or GED; additional certifications are a plus.
• One year insulation experience or a valid credential preferred.

Responsibilities

• Apply, remove and repair thermal and acoustic insulation on industrial equipment.
• Read drawings and specifications to determine material needs.
• Maintain safety at all times per company procedures and standards.
• Travel as needed to job sites and work overtime when required.
