  • Coordinate with other departments such as food and beverage, maintenance, and sales to deliver a cohesive guest experience.
  • Recruit, train, and evaluate staff performance to build a motivated and skilled team.
  • Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and reports related to the rooms division operations.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards across all rooms division activities.
  • Requires a flexible schedule to work both Mornings, Evenings, overnights and long days.

About the Role:

The Rooms Division Manager is responsible for overseeing all operations related to the rooms division within a hospitality establishment, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and operational efficiency. This role involves managing front office, housekeeping, and guest services teams to maintain high standards of cleanliness, service, and guest satisfaction. The manager will develop and implement policies and procedures that optimize room occupancy, revenue, and overall guest comfort. They will also coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and service delivery across the property. Ultimately, the Rooms Division Manager plays a critical role in driving the success of the property by balancing operational excellence with a strong focus on customer service. This role requires a flexible schedule to work both Mornings, Evenings, overnights and long days. This position requires commitment and dedication.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in hotel operations with at least 1 year in a supervisory or management role within the rooms division.
  • Strong knowledge of front office, housekeeping, and guest service operations.
  • Proficiency in property management systems (PMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certification in hospitality management or related professional credentials (e.g., CHA, CHRM).
  • Experience working in a luxury or upscale hotel environment.
  • Familiarity with revenue management and yield optimization techniques.
  • Ability to speak multiple languages.
  • Advanced skills in data analysis and reporting tools.
