Job summary

One Community Health is hiring an entry-level medical assistant to join our team in White Salmon, WA. Onsite training will cover vitals, injections, procedures, stocking, and other patient-care skills.

Full-time role with a clear path into an Apprenticeship after six months of employment, combining hands-on training with online coursework and three off-site days. Upon completion and national certification, you will become a Nationally Certified Medical Assistant.

Job description

One Community Health is hiring an entry-level medical assistant to join our team. No previous experience needed, just a passion for helping others and a desire for career growth. We will provide onsite training of vitals, injections, procedures, stocking, and other skills needed for excellent patient care. This position will be full-time, and primarily located in our clinic in White Salmon, Washington.

We are also proud to offer a Medical Assistant Apprenticeship Program for those looking to take their career to the next level. After 6 months of employment, you become eligible to apply for our apprenticeship, which combines 2,000 hours of hands‑on, on‑the‑job training with virtual online schooling, averaging just 10–12 hours per week. The one‑year program also includes 3 off‑site clinical days to broaden your experience. Upon completion and passing the national certification exam, you will earn your credentials as a Nationally Certified Medical Assistant.

Compensation:

• Hourly/Non-Exempt: Starting at $20-$20.75 per hour
• Bilingual Differential: Additionally, we offer $0.75 per hour as compensation for bilingual proficiency in both English and Spanish.
