Job summary

One Community Health in Hood River, Oregon seeks a Certified Medical Assistant to support clinical and operational duties at our Hood River Clinic. You will handle patient intake, assist with procedures, educate patients, and manage records and scheduling while serving as a liaison between patients, providers, and nurses.

The role offers both full-time (40 hours) and part-time (30 hours) positions at our Hood River clinic with compensation ranging from $25.00 to $27.00 per hour, plus a bilingual

• Current CMA Certification.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Job description

One Community Health is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our Hood River, Oregon Clinic Team. This multifaceted role involves a variety of clinical and operational duties to support our mission of providing exceptional patient care. The Medical Assistant performs clinic operational tasks including patient intake and processing, assisting providers with treatments and procedures, patient instruction, and patient education. This position will also get to serve as communication liaison between patient, medical provider, and licensed nurse. Additional duties include quality control checks, performance improvement, supply stocking, equipment sterilization, patient records management, and patient scheduling.

We have both full-time (40 hours a week) and part-time (30 hours a week) positions available at our clinic located in Hood River, Oregon.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant (MA) program.
• Current Medical Assistant (CMA) Certification.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Compensation:

• Hourly/Non-Exempt: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour, dependent on experience
• Bilingual Differential: Additionally, we offer $0.75 per hour as compensation for bilingual proficiency in both English and Spanish.
• Milage Reimbursement: In accordance with OCH policy.
