Job summary

Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts in Naples, FL, seeks a room service attendant to deliver food orders to guest rooms with attention to detail and guest satisfaction. Responsibilities

• Deliver room service orders to guest rooms and verify special requests.
• Greet guests and describe menu items with engaging descriptions of origin, taste and preparation methods.
• Breakdown, clean and set up room service tables, condiment setups, flatware and side stations.
• Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and respond to requests promptly.
• Close guest checks accurately and secure room number and signature; settle voided checks or complimentary meals.
• Maintain adherence to Four Seasons’ policies and standards of conduct.
• Coordinate with co-workers and supervisors to ensure timely and harmonious service.

About the role

Serve guest needs by providing exceptional knowledge of food & beverage menu items as well as information regarding preparation methods.

What you will do

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Deliver food orders including any special needs or requests to the guest in-room, check completed kitchen orders with the order taker or guest’s original order; transport items to the guestroom in a timely manner to ensure proper food quality.
• Greet guests, describe selected items to the guest using interesting, and vivid descriptions of the each item’s, origin, taste, and preparation methods; communicate options for removal of trays and dishware; respond to request for tray removal according to established time standards.
• Breakdown, clean and set-up of room service tables, condiment set-ups, flatware, dishware, and room service side stations. Make proper use of our mobile technology devices and programs.
• Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.
• Properly and accurately close guest checks securing room number and signature; properly settle voided checks or complimentary meals.
• Comply with Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in EmPact.
• Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.

NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Take guest orders in the absence of order taker.
• Plate and prepare small food items.
