Overview

The Lytle Park Hotel offers you a choice of Free Parking or a Free Monthly Bus Pass!

We are seeking a passionate hospitality professional with strengths in service, thorough knowledge of the guest experience, and an exceptional Beyond Compare service attitude for the position of In-Room Dining Server. This role is responsible for ensuring all guests have a high-quality In-Room Dining experience, serving guests in a five-star manner. Responsibilities include delivering orders within specified timeframes, setting up presentation, and settling payments.

Primary Responsibilities:
  1. Full knowledge of all menu items, including beverages, with the ability to make recommendations.
  2. Answering incoming calls, taking guest orders, including room number and number of diners, and quoting delivery times.
  3. Setting up, delivering, and following standards of service, including guest name usage.
  4. Closing checks according to payment methods and procedures.
  5. Retrieving trays and used items from guest hallways.
  6. Completing side work duties before shift end.
  7. Stocking supplies and Food & Beverage items.
  8. Communicating supply needs and issues to management.
  9. Providing high service standards to guests.
  10. Maintaining cleanliness of the dining stations.
  11. Exceeding guest expectations with an “exactly like nothing else” attitude.
  12. Following cash handling procedures, including tip reporting.
  13. Performing additional tasks assigned by the manager.
Qualifications

Candidates should embody our core values: positive, genuine, honorable, caring, passionate, and open-minded. A minimum of one year of hospitality experience, preferably in a luxury Food & Beverage environment, is required.
