Job summary

The Peninsula Beverly Hills is seeking a Part-Time Server with a warm, hospitable approach to join the Food and Beverage team. You will contribute to exceptional guest experiences in a luxury setting and support In Room Dining operations with attentive service.

Ideal candidates bring experience in luxury hospitality, strong knowledge of menu items, and excellent communication with colleagues to uphold our high standards of service throughout the property.

Qualifications

• Experience in a luxury hotel or other luxury environment.
• Excellent knowledge of food and beverage menu items.
• Frequent communication with colleagues and maintain a strong rapport within the Food & Beverage Department.

Responsibilities

• Provide service for In Room Dining following hotel standards and training.
• Support training and perform service tasks as directed by management.
• Deliver friendly, discreet, unobtrusive service to all guests.
• Maintain consistency of correct service techniques across shifts.

Key Accountabilities

• To be responsible for all activities related to service for In Room Dining, which includes preparation tasks, training, and performing service as per standards set by the Hotel
• To perform a friendly yet discreet and unobtrusive service for all guests
• To ensure a consistency of the correct service techniques

General Requirements

• Experience in a luxury hotel or other luxury environment
• To have extensive knowledge of food and beverage menu items
• To frequently communicate with colleagues and to maintain an excellent rapport within the entire Food & Beverage Department to stimulate continuous improvement
