Job summary

Mystic Lake Casino in Prior Lake, MN is seeking a Room Service Coordinator to ensure memorable guest experiences through timely room service delivery and order processing. You will take and deliver orders, prepare carts, restock supplies, and maintain a clean work area.

Starting pay is up to $15.00 per hour with tips, based on shift. Shifts available include 1st and 2nd, with opportunities for growth and benefits through the SMSC Gaming Enterprise.

Responsibilities

• Delivers room service orders to hotel rooms and presents the bill to guests.
• Takes telephone food orders from hotel guests and enters them into the POS system.
• Prepares service cart for food orders.
• Restocks room service carts and orders supplies as needed.
• Performs room sweeps to check for room service orders and processes accordingly.
• Enters and reconciles guest checks into the database and processes transactions.
• Maintains cleanliness and orderliness of the work area.

Shifts Available: 1st and 2nd Shift

Job Overview: Applies high guest service standards. Takes and delivers room service orders. Additional supporting tasks as assigned.

Illuminate Your Future: What You'll Do:

• Delivers food orders to hotel rooms. Presents bill to guests.
• Takes telephone food orders from hotel guests and enters into P.O.S. system.
• Prepares service cart for food order.
• Restocks room service carts. Orders supplies as needed.
• Performs room sweep to check for room service orders and processes appropriately.
• Removes soiled room service trays and disposes of dishes/linens.
• Enters and reconciles guest checks into database. Processes transactions pertaining to food charges. Reconciles cash drawer at the end of shift.
• Maintains cleanliness/orderliness of work area

Required Experience:

• Ability to read, write and speak English clearly.
• Basic math skills.
