GERVASI VINEYARD is seeking a Room & Laundry Attendant to clean guest rooms and common areas at our Canton, Ohio estate. You will handle bedding, dusting, floors, and laundry services, while providing friendly service to guests.

We are seeking a candidate who has a great attention for detail and is customer friendly. You will be responsible for cleaning the guest rooms and common areas of Gervasi Village as assigned by your supervisor. The duties include, but are not limited to, making beds, dusting, scrubbing floors/tubs/sinks, vacuuming, and laundry services as needed.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

The Room & Laundry Attendant is responsible for cleaning guest rooms and common areas, removing trash and dirty linens, replenishing guest supplies, sorting and processing laundry, assisting with room refreshes and special guest requests, and supporting housekeeping operations as assigned by a lead or supervisor. Schedule flexibility is required, including nights, weekends, and holidays

• Attend pre-shift meetings to learn room assignments, laundry needs, and daily tasks.
• Remove trash, dirty dishes, and dirty linens from assigned rooms in a timely manner.
• Clean and service assigned rooms in a timely, organized manner according to housekeeping procedures and standards.
• Clean and prepare hotel rooms, common areas, lobbies, and other assigned spaces to be presentable for guests and daily functions.
• Replenish guest dining ware, linens, toiletries, beverages, soap dispensers, and room amenities as needed and according to property standards.
• Sort, wash, dry, prepare, fold, and stock all laundry according to department standards.
• Sort and record discarded linens into appropriate categories and report linen loss or damage to management.
• Operate all laundry room equipment according to manufacturer guidelines and department procedures.
• Keep records of equipment operation and report needed repairs, unsafe conditions, and equipment concerns to a supervisor or management.
• Respond quickly to requests from guests, supervisors, leaders, or management in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner, and follow up to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Maintain housekeeping and laundry supplies in a neat, organized manner according to department standards.
• Assist with Casa kitchen dishware, including washing, drying, polishing, putting away dishware, collecting dishware, and cleaning kitchen areas as assigned. (Casa specific)
• Replenish Villa Grande cleaning closets and refill hotel room soap dispensers as assigned. (Villa specific)
• Replenish Farmhouse cleaning closets and linen cabinets at the end of each day. (Villa specific)
• Provides a professional image at all times through appearance and dress in ordinance with the standards set by Gervasi Destinations Style Guide.
• Maintains security of equipment, keys or supplies that may be issued each day
• Assist with room refreshes, special guest requests, and delivery of items to guest suites as assigned by a lead or supervisor.
• Detail-clean rooms, hotel common areas, laundry areas, and machines/equipment as requested by a lead or supervisor.
• Always provide a professional image through appearance and dress in accordance with the standards set by the Gervasi Style Guide.
• Always follow company policies and procedures.
