Job summary

A leading hospitality management company is looking for a dynamic Room Inspector/Housekeeper in Warwick, Rhode Island. This role includes inspecting rooms and performing housekeeping duties to maintain high cleanliness standards. • Counsels Housekeepers on discrepancies.
• Opens/closes the house by assigning rooms to attendants.
• Performs various other duties as assigned.

Job Duties And Responsibilities

• Schedules room and cleaning assignments to ensure proper coverage.
• Inspects all assigned suites and public areas to ensure furnishings, equipment, linens, etc. are clean and in good repair.
• Performs all housekeeping duties necessary, including making beds, vacuuming and cleaning.
• Verifies and updates status of discrepant rooms throughout the shift.
• Randomly selects assigned rooms to ensure cleanliness.
• Counsels Housekeepers on discrepancies. Notifies Executive Housekeeper of maintenance repairs as necessary.
• Opens/ closes the house by assigning rooms to Room Attendants, then ensuring that all rooms are cleaned by the end of day.
• Perform various other duties as assigned.

Education And Experience

• Minimum of High School education
• Minimum of one (1) year in Housekeeping role preferred
