Ontario Trillium Foundation is seeking a dependable Room Inspector to support our housekeeping operation and help ensure consistent cleanliness and guest satisfaction. You will inspect guest rooms to ensure cleanliness, presentation, and brand standards, and communicate room status with the Front Desk.
You'll work with the housekeeping team to identify deficiencies, coordinate room readiness, and assist with training and guidance for room attendants. Weekend and holiday availability preferred.
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Room Inspector to support our housekeeping operation and help ensure consistent standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
This position is primarily responsible for inspecting guest rooms to ensure cleanliness, presentation, and brand standards are consistently met. The Room Inspector will work closely with the housekeeping team to communicate room status, identify items needing attention, and help keep daily operations organized. At times, this position may assist with coordinating the daily room assignments and housekeeping workflow when additional coverage is needed.

Inspect guest rooms to ensure cleanliness, presentation, and brand standards are consistently met.
Report directly to the Executive Housekeeper and Housekeeping Supervisor.
Communicate any deficiencies to room attendants and ensure necessary corrections are completed.
Monitor room status and communicate room readiness with the Front Desk.
Help coordinate daily room assignments based on occupancy, departures, stayovers, and operational needs.
Provide guidance and support to room attendants throughout the shift.
Assist with training new room attendants on cleaning procedures and room standards.
Report maintenance concerns found during room inspections to the appropriate department.
Support the housekeeping team with guest room cleaning when needed based on occupancy and staffing.
Help keep the housekeeping operation organized and on track when additional coverage is needed.
Previous hotel housekeeping experience strongly preferred.
Previous room inspection, lead, or supervisory experience is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
Dependable and able to work independently.
Ability to organize and prioritize assignments in a fast-paced hotel environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Comfortable providing direction and support to other housekeeping team members.
Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays based on business needs.
