Description

SUMMARY: To thoroughly clean all areas of the hotel, aiming to enhance the guest experience through excellent standards of cleanliness. Responsible for reporting maintenance issues and handling guest requests or complaints. Ensures confidentiality and security of all guest rooms.

Work Environment

Guest Rooms, Corridors, Housekeeping Office. May involve working under variable temperature, noise levels, fumes, dust, chemicals, and bio-hazards.

Responsibilities
  • Clean and disinfect guestrooms, including bathrooms, dust furniture, vacuum, change linens, sweep, mop, and pick up debris. Tidy personal belongings as needed and clean public spaces.
  • Restock towels and supplies, replace amenities in correct amounts and locations.
  • Use appropriate cleaning chemicals per OSHA and company safety standards.
  • Maintain knowledge of equipment use and safety, keep carts and linen rooms organized, report maintenance issues, and handle keys responsibly.
  • Log lost and found items, comply with safety and sanitation policies, and work safely with PPEs.
  • Report accidents, injuries, unsafe conditions, and ensure professional appearance.
  • Understand emergency procedures, may work evenings, weekends, or overtime, and perform additional tasks as assigned.
Requirements
  • Fluency in English, organizational skills, ability to follow instructions, work independently, maintain punctuality, and present a neat appearance.
  • Previous housekeeping experience helpful.
  • Physical demands include standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Required PPE: non-skid, closed-toe shoes.
