Job summary

Buffalo Lodging Associates, the hotel management company behind Homewood Suites Sarasota/Lakewood Ranch, is seeking a Room Attendant to join the housekeeping team. The property features 133 suites and is located near I-75 and Nathan Benderson Park.

You will clean rooms and suites to high standards, report maintenance issues, and provide friendly guest service while working shifts that include weekends and holidays. Prior hotel experience is preferred or training provided.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a hotel setting or willingness to train.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and push a cart weighing up to 100 lbs.
• Engaging personality and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Clean rooms/suites as assigned by supervisor, ensuring quality of cleanliness and guest service.
• Report discrepancies and maintenance problems to supervisor.
• Provide excellent guest service by responding promptly to requests.
• Work shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Shift hours typically 8-9am to finish, about 8 hours, with weekend/holiday flexibility.
