Overview

The Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining clean and attractive guestrooms while providing attentive, courteous, and efficient service to all guests.

Responsibilities
  1. Thoroughly clean guestrooms according to standards.
  2. Complete all pre-cleaning duties, including guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and linen for housekeeping cart set-up.
  3. Remove all trash and dirty linen from guestrooms and hallways.
  4. Keep hallways, public areas, and closets clean, neat, and vacuumed.
  5. Restock housekeeping cleaning cart for next day’s use.
  6. Replenish chemical bottles.
  7. Report missing items from rooms to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
  8. Report maintenance issues immediately.
  9. Handle Lost and Found items according to standards.
  10. Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
  11. Work hours are typically between 8am-7pm, Monday through Saturday, with some variation.
  12. Must be flexible to work any day of the week.
Qualifications
  1. High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  2. Ability to exert up to 50 pounds occasionally, and 20 pounds frequently.
  3. Ability to stand throughout the shift.
  4. Effective verbal and written communication skills in a friendly, courteous manner.
