Job summary

HEI Hotels and Resorts is seeking a dedicated Room Attendant for Springhill Suites Orlando Lake Buena Vista in the Marriott Village. The role involves cleaning guest rooms and public areas to ensure safety and a high standard of cleanliness.

You will strip and remake beds, manage supplies, report maintenance needs, and assist teammates as needed in a fast-paced hospitality environment. On-site work with a flexible schedule is expected.

Qualifications

• Ability to scrub and scour surfaces and extend arms overhead.
• Willingness to pitch in and assist coworkers.
• Knowledge of chemical cleaning agents and operation of cleaning equipment.
• Ability to push/pull equipment weighing up to 100 lbs.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Adapt communication style for different audiences.

Responsibilities

• Clean bathtubs, toilets, sinks, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters and floors.
• Strip and make beds, change linens (up to 50 lbs).
• Dust furniture, ledges, shelves; vacuum rooms; empty trash.
• Replenish amenities, linens, and supplies."

No**Overview**Maintain the hotel rooms and building to ensure safe and clean experience for hotel guests, associates, and vendors.### **Essential Duties and Responsibilities*** Clean bathtub, toilet, sink, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters, and floor surfaces using cloths, mops, sponges, brushes, and/or cleaning agents by extending arms over head, bending, and stooping.* Adhere to cleaning procedures and instructions for use of cleaning agents.* Strip beds and make beds, changing bed linens, which may require lifting bedspreads weighing a maximum of 50 lbs.* Dust all furniture, pictures, drawers, window ledges, and shelves thoroughly.* Push and pull vacuum throughout the entire room and empty trash.* Replenish amenities, linens, and supplies in guest room.* Sign for room keys, retrieve, push to assigned rooms and restock heavy cart.
